A growth journal for every child: a first tooth, first steps, daycare, a contest and graduation, with a photo, a date and their age that day.

Every important moment of the children is kept in one place, arranged by year, and connected to the family tree and to dates. Private to the family, and you choose what to share.

What you record

A title, a full date, a description and one photo for each milestone
Ready types: first tooth, first steps, daycare, kindergarten, school, a class, a contest, a trip, matriculation and more, or a free title
The child’s age on that day is worked out for you: "aged 8 months", "aged 1 year and 3 months"
A timeline for each child, arranged by year, with a filter by type
Height and weight with a growth chart against the World Health Organization curves and a percentile for each measuring, private to the family (for information only, not medical advice)

Connected to the tree

The children come from the family tree, with their date of birth and photo
Each member marks who they are in the tree, so the site knows who their children are
You can create a new child here and he is added to the tree too
A person’s card in the tree shows the milestones that were shared

Private or shared

By default a milestone is private to your family
One switch for each child: "share the milestones with the shared tree", which covers all of that child’s milestones
Linked families see only what was shared, read only
View and edit permissions for each member, like the rest of the site

Dates and reminders

Milestones also appear on the dates page, without copying
"A year ago today": a notification on the anniversary of each milestone
A notification to the family when a new milestone is added
The site-wide search finds milestones too

Who can do what: The family admin decides for each member whether they can view or edit Milestones, or have no access to it. The feature can also be switched off for the whole family.
