A household budget where you see what was planned and what actually happened, month by month, and what is expected by the end of the year.

The month

Add an expense or income: monthly, yearly (in a payment month you choose) or one-time
Planned versus actual: actual starts as the plan and changes when you update it, with a gap column
Summary cards for income, expenses and balance, with warnings about a negative balance and going over
Change an item: this month only, from this month on, or in all months, and skip a month
Move between expense and income, reset "actual = plan", and edit directly in the table
An owner and a category for each item, with suggestions, and export to CSV

Yearly forecast

A 12-month chart: income, expenses and running balance
An opening balance of your choice, and a "spread yearly expenses" switch for an even split
A warning about the first month in which the balance drops below zero
Export the forecast to CSV

Monthly breakdown

A table for each year by category or by person
An expense breakdown chart with the 7 largest categories and "other"

Importing expenses

Scanning invoices from email and reading credit card statements in PDF, with the help of AI
Everything found comes to you for approval, and nothing enters the budget before you approve it
An amount in a foreign currency is converted to shekels, and the original is shown

Cost of an event

A line of income or expense can be tied to an important date, such as a bar mitzvah or a move
On the dates page you see how much you spent out of what was planned for that event
The event’s expenses and income are shown separately, with a link back to the budget

Who can do what: The family admin decides for each member whether they can view or edit Budget, or have no access to it. The feature can also be switched off for the whole family.
